US beef exports to Canada slightly higher - USMEF

By: US beef export volumes to Canada trended slightly higher in September, up 2% from a year ago to 8,176 mt, according to data released by USDA and compiled by the US Meat Export Federation (USMEF).
But export value increased very impressively, climbing 23% to $79.7 million. January-September exports to Canada increased 1% to 78,951 mt, valued at $663.8 million (up 4%).
