Telangana HC Puts Tab on Cattle Transport
INDIA - The Telangana High Court on Tuesday directed the state government and the offices of the Union government which are located in Telangana, not to allow transportation of any cattle or animals without a permit order issued by the competent authority.

A division bench comprising Chief Justice Thottathil B Radhakrishnan and Justice A. Rajasekhar Reddy while dealing with a suo moto PIL related to transportation of a large number of cattle in a tiny vehicle to the slaughterhouse, issued several guidelines to follow in the transportation of any animals.
The bench directed the authorities to ensure that all cattle and animals shall be transported in such a vehicle, with space and size as prescribed under the Animal Welfare Board of TS.
