Lithuania Expecting Permits to Export Beef to China in June
LITHUANIA - Lithuania expects to get permits for beef and beef product exports to China in June, Agriculture Minister Giedrius Surplys said on Friday."We expect to obtain China's permits for exporting our beef shortly. Their agencies are currently carrying out their checks," Mr Surplys said at a news conference.
"We expect to be granted these permits in June," he added.
The Baltic Times reports that Lithuania has been holding talks with China on beef exports since 2015.
