The conference takes place on Tuesday 2 June at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire.

The event, organised by AHDB’s beef, lamb and pork divisions (EBLEX and BPEX), will cover the latest Food Standards Agency (FSA) projects for improving food chain information (FCI), the collection and communication of inspection results (CCIR) and reporting systems.

The conference will also allow the opportunity to discuss the EU draft legislation for FCI for pigs.

AHDB/EBLEX business development manager Christine Walsh said: “Our aim is to continue help the meat industry and the FSA to support improvements to food safety, animal health and welfare and productivity.

“This is a timely opportunity for the meat processing sector to get involved to discuss and influence the type of information to be captured and how it can be best transferred up and down the meat supply chain.

"Abattoir technical managers, meat processors and allied industry are all invited to attend.”

To register, please contact Cheryl Barker at [email protected] by Tuesday 26 May.
