U.S. May File Complaint Over Japan Beef Dispute
US - The United States is threatening to file a complaint with the World Trade Organization if Japan doesn't set a concrete deadline to soften its requirements for U.S. beef being imported into the country, according to a report by Japan’s Kyodo news agency.Japan will only accept beef from cattle aged up to 20 months. Certain risk materials must also be completely removed.
