US reveals rules to counter threat of BSE outbreak
The US department of agriculture has announced a wide range of regulations to counter the threat of an outbreak of BSE as well as to assure consumers that beef is safe. The measures are broadly similar to those introduced in the UK in 1996.Source: The Scotsman
