Philippines Exports Corn Feed Silage to South Korea
PHILIPPINES - The Department of Agriculture in partnership with corn industry groups recently sent an initial shipment of 24 metric tons (MT) of corn feed silage for cattle to Busan, South Korea.

The shipment is part of the total 15,000 MT of corn feed and grains worth P75 million that will be exported to South Korea up to December 2013.
Agriculture Secretary Proceso J. Alcala said exporting corn silage will increase farmers’ incomes by an average of 20 per cent.
